Due to continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced ER Team as an Senior Employee Relations Advisor. In this role, you will oversee employee inquiries and complaints across Australia and New Zealand, employing strategic resolutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with line managers and senior leaders to provide hands-on support in employee relations, including conducting performance meetings and disciplinary proceedings;
- Equip managers with effective tools and resources, such as performance flow charts, to facilitate smooth management of employee relations within their teams; and
- Independently manage relations within a predominantly casual workforce, fostering strong connections across all organisational levels.
This role will require a proactive individual capable of seamlessly integrating with a fast-paced environment and aligning ER strategies with business needs. You will also have:
- Demonstrable experience in employee relations and case management, encompassing investigations, performance management and award interpretation;
- Familiarity with government regulators, particularly the Fair Work Ombudsman;
- Preferably, experience within the QSR or retail industry;
- Profound understanding of contemporary HR issues, methodologies and practices;
- Proven ability to achieve results through collaborative efforts and adept influencing skills; and
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
