Senior Event Producer permanent role for an Events Agency based in Melbourne on a salary of $120k - $140k plus super depending on experience.

They are looking for a Senior Producer to join their team on a permanent basis to work on a wide variety of in-person and virtual events.
The Role:
The Senior Event Producer will report to the Directors. The Senior Event Producer will be responsible for managing in-person and virtual experiences for corporate clients, ranging from small-medium sponsorship or brand activations, experiences and events, to in-person leadership forums and off-sites and large-scale virtual, live or hybrid conferences (keynote, breakouts, expo, sponsors etc).
Key Responsibilities include;
- Work with the Directors to develop client/project proposals and deliver pitches, as well as develop and maintain client and account relationships
- Lead the project team and supplier network to deliver all aspects of various projects, across several key client accounts, including (but not limited to):
- Lead project communications and collaboration, including driving team and client WIPs, managing team delegations and workloads, and overseeing timely delivery of all project requirements
- Create and maintain a clear overview of the project and working areas to ensure adequate support and communication, in addition to maintenance of key project documentation
- Oversee venue and supplier engagement, management and direction to ensure project and values alignment
- Oversee project documentation creation and maintenance
- Lead the development of content pieces for broadcast and live presentation; including speaker briefings, rehearsals, recordings and post production, scripting, creative treatment and associated logistics
- Accountable and responsible for budget maintenance and management, working with the project team to update the project budget accurately and regularly, ensure POs are issued and invoices are received for payment
- Lead creative and content development (where required) and help to support concept integrity, brand identity and client messaging within relevant project areas
- Manage key team members, with some as direct reports and in doing so, actively work to empower, up-skill and train them
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as an Event Producer or Senior Producer with a passion for creative production. Experience working on a wide variety of events, and will have excellent client and people management skills.
