Our client is a state government department located close to Perth CBD.
Your new role
As the Senior EA, you will work alongside the Executive Manager to provide high level support to the Deputy Director-General. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Monitoring the DDG's email inbox, reviewing items such as emails, calendar invitations and general enquiries
- Complex diary management
- Digital file preparation
- Preparing travel proposals
- Booking travel & accommodation
- Preparing agendas
- Coordinating policy advice requests
- Weekly reporting
- Coordinating the DDG's correspondence
- Administrative projects, as required
- Coordinate and prepare cabinet submissions, parliamentary questions, committee enquiries and briefing notes
- Governance
- Assist with any recruitment, as required
- Manage the corporate cards, including transaction coding, monthly reporting and acquittals
What you'll need to succeed
Previous government experience is desirable
Proven experience supporting Senior Executives or above
Excellent written & verbal communication
A current police clearance
What you'll get in return
A 12-month temporary position
37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Weekly pay structure
Competitive rate of pay plus 11% superannuation
