Applications are invited for the permanent role of A06 Senior Executive Officer, Office of the Deputy Director-General, Schools and Student Support Division.

About the Role:
We have a wonderful opportunity for an Executive Officer to join our high performing, supportive and inclusive team.
In an ever changing and fast-paced working world we are looking for an adaptable, future focused, polite, friendly multitasker. This role requires self-management skills and accountability to keep operations for the Office of the Deputy Director-General flowing smoothly.
You will provide seamless operation of day-to-day activities, including the flow of business to provide a broad range of confidential secretarial and administrative services to support the Deputy Director-General, Schools and Student Support Division.
As Senior Executive Officer, your role will include the following key tasks:
- maintain effective and efficient liaison between the Office of the Deputy Director-General, the Office of Associate Director General, the Office of Director-General, senior Departmental officers, other government representatives and external clients on all matters relating to all operational aspects of the Department;
- coordinate the daily flow of business to and from the ODDG SSS, including monitoring and screening incoming communication to the DDG SSS from within the Department, other Departments, statutory authorities, key stakeholders and the general public;
- facilitate and organise the preparation of itinerary and travel requirements for the Deputy Director-General, Schools and Student Support and work closely with the Associate Director-General and Director-General offices to coordinate state wide itineraries; and
- identify the need for, and facilitate the timely preparation of briefing notes and speech materials for the DDG SSS on matters for discussion with public and private sector executives and representatives.
