Stockland are currently looking to bring on board a Senior Facilities Manager, based at one of our key assets in Macquarie Park.
This is an exciting opportunity to organise and coordinate the operational management of the asset whilst containing expenditure within budget.
The successful candidate will ensure the proper, compliant and efficient operation of the building, creating and sustaining a safe and productive environment for the occupants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the operation and presentation of the asset(s).
- Management of Facilities Manager.
- Coordinate the strategic and operational management of the asset whilst containing expenditure within budget.
- Manage and oversee all contractor relationships and supply chain, ensuring agreed standards of service delivery are met and the service is cost effective.
- Assist with operational and capital expenditure budgets.
- Manage capital works.
- Contribute to performance reporting requirements.
- Assume responsibility for any processes and procedures related to the delivery of a safe, compliant, well maintained and sustainable asset.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholder groups.
- Promote and ensure full compliance with Stockland's OH&S policies.
- Identify and follow through with OH&S improvements (system improvements, elimination of hazards and environmental risks).
- Identify and manage improvements through appropriate compliance assessments (e.g. Fire, Premise Standards, EEO, OH&S Regs.).
- Establish and drive improvement programs to optimise the assets waste and energy, and water usage.
- Enable cross-functional collaboration that connects people to enable efficiencies.
- Take a proactive role in ensuring full compliance with relevant Operational Risk procedures.
- Ensure understanding of and performance consistent with applicable internal and external compliance and regulatory requirements as well as the internal escalation procedures.
About You
- Diploma of FM or Degree in the related field
- 2 years Building Operations experience
- A minimum of 5 years Building Operations experience with no formal education
- Proven experience in customer service and managing effective relationships
- Extensive knowledge of appliances and equipment is essential
- Experience in managing budgets
