Are you a highly creative and organised Senior FM who can assist a disability service provider elevate the standards across their property portfolio? It's a fabulous opportunity to make a genuine difference.
Our client is a highly renowned Disability Services Provider focusing on supporting those with disabilities across Victorian communities to achieve their goals and live independent lives. They require a facilities management professional who aligns with their values and can be instrumental in driving the performance, standards and presentation across their property portfolio of Business Enterprises, Community Hubs, and Specialised Disability Accommodation in Victoria. This is an initial 6-months fixed-term contract with ongoing potential thereafter.
Key responsibilities:
  • Drive forward efficiencies in delivering proactive/reactive maintenance, fleet management, asset management and risk management across the portfolio of 22 sites.
  • Identify operational efficiencies around FM performance, customer satisfaction, and contractor management. Introduce and monitor operational standards around best practices.
  • Deliver $1 million of CAPEX improvements across the portfolio and work with key stakeholders to identify the best use of monies. Assist with minor relocations.
  • Manage and lead related processes and procedures to deliver safe, compliant, well-maintained properties and specialised equipment.
  • Support two staff and encourage collaboration to identify improvement areas.
  • Contractor and performance management – ensuring performance deliverables concerning SLAs, WHS and Customer Service. Procurement and tendering of services could also be required.
  • Proactively engage with On-site Service Managers on sites to identify any facilities' performance issues, carry out site inspections and prepare sites for NDIS-accredited audits.
  • Ensure all relevant legislation around BCA codes, Essential Services and Work Health and Safety is adhered.

Your skillsets/background:
This opportunity requires a compassionate, commercially astute and experienced Senior Facilities Manager who can effect change and bring people along for the journey. You will be proficient in identifying how to structure preventative and reactive maintenance programmes in conjunction with longer-term asset management planning.
Your key skillset will include:
  • Experienced with contract management, CAPEX budgets, and the preparation of strategic preparing executive reports!
  • Uphold a culture that thrives on collaboration, respect, and cooperation.
  • A goal-oriented manager who is outcome-focused.
  • Be a natural communicator with a keen focus on teamwork, love collaborating and sharing ideas.
  • Solid customer service experience and managing effective relationships across stakeholders, the team, and clients and their supports.
