About the position:
Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Family Lawyer with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their team. This position provides the opportunity to work on diverse family law cases, including complex divorces, child custody disputes, and property settlements. You will manage your caseload with independence and efficiency, while receiving acknowledgment from partners and fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert legal counsel on a variety of family law matters
- Independently manage a diverse caseload with efficiency
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents
- Represent clients in court proceedings and mediation
- Mentor and guide junior staff, contributing to team development
- Stay current with family law legislation and best practices
- Achieve billable targets consistently
- Minimum of 5+ years PQE in family law
- Proven experience handling intricate family law cases
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Strong drive to achieve billable targets
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a motivated approach
