Senior Family Lawyer 5+ Years Pae

We have an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Family Lawyer with at least 5 years of experience to join on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will manage their workload with the supervision and guidance of the Directors.As a Senior Family Lawyer, your responsibilities will include:
- Handling initial enquiries from potential clients
- Meeting with clients and taking detailed instructions along with the Directors
- Conducting research
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents for the Family Court
- Attending the Family Court, including court appearances and document inspections
- Performing other duties as reasonably requestedTo qualify for this role, you must have:
- The ability to meet and interview clients to assess if our firm is suitable to provide the necessary advice and services based on the likely costs and the client's ability to pay
- The ability to advise clients on legal issues and the law related to their case
- Experience in preparing documents and correspondence tailored to the client's individual needs
- The ability to negotiate with clients and other professionals involved in the matter
- Strong research and analytical skills to ensure accuracy in advice and procedures
- The ability to correspond with clients, other parties, expert witnesses, and other professionals involved in the case
- The ability to represent clients in court and prepare court documents within required timeframes
- Experience in delegating work to Paralegals
- The ability to provide advice to junior lawyers as needed
- The ability to keep up-to-date with changes and developments in the law by reading journals and law reports
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, court staff, and other professionals
- Superior written and verbal skills to maintain accuracy and clarity in all written and verbal communications
