About Our ClientOur client is one of the larger Public Sector and Government departments.Job Description

• Providing a range of financial and budget services (eg. Budget development, end-of-month reporting, forecasting);
• Undertaking financial analysis and reconciliation processes on a monthly basis.
• Providing financial advice within the Department
• Managing and co-ordinating month end processing i.e. accruals and journals;
• Liaising and engaging with internal clients.
• The ability to prioritise workload and manage a small team is essential as is the ability to accept and manage change.

The Successful Applicant

• have strong analytical and investigative skills
• be able to work under limited supervision and within a team
• be a skilled communicator
• be able to build/contribute to a highly productive working environment
• exemplify a high level of personal integrity, honesty and professional competence.

You will be an Australian Citizen, ideally be based in Canberra and will have a minimum of baseline security clearance or the ability to gain it.What's on Offer

• APS 6 pay banding of circa $90,000 - $103,000 depending on experience, plus 15.4% super.
