ABOUT THE JOB:
- Providing financial reporting, support and advice, including preparing finance dashboards and reports for executives.
- Responding to a range of internal reporting requests (e.g. budget and annual reporting updates, forecasting of branch budgets, monthly accruals, monthly reporting)
- Managing the collection of information to monitor program budget, forecasts, and expenses, including updating and maintaining the program finance model.
- Liaising with the group’s finance business partners to maintain internal controls and meet financial reporting requirements.
- Monitoring and processing accruals and vendor invoices.
- Improving financial processes and systems to ensure they are efficient, effective, and fit for purpose.
THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE:
- Experience in government accounting or finance areas.
- Qualifications in finance or accounting and experience in finance modelling.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with executives.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to formulate advice and provide input to complex issues.
- Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines to achieve results and deliver high quality outcomes.
