We are looking for a proactive, detail-orientated and passionate Senior Finance Officer to join our team. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a supportive and innovative environment.
As an essential part of the Finance team, you will work closely with the Financial Controller, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial activities. You will provide support to the Executive team, Divisional Leads and the broader Element Advisory team on financial matters.
This role is based in our Perth CBD Office. We embrace flexibility and for the right candidate we can support part-time and or hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Management of Accounts Payable including payment processing
- Management of Accounts Receivable including monthly statements and engagement with debtors
- Management of bank processes including reconciliations
- Assistance with payroll including superannuation and PAYG tax payments
- Supporting the Financial Controller with tax filing (e.g. FBT and Payroll tax calculations, BAS preparation)
- Provide support to Financial Controller and Finance team in completing month end reporting
- Provide support to the Financial Controller / Chief Financial Officer on special projects or tasks when required
About You
You will have demonstrated experience in:
- Demonstrated experience relevant to the role
- Experience using XERO accounting software or a similar package
- Experience in payroll processing, including knowledge of taxation and relevant legislation
- Desirable, experience with Project Management Systems (PMS) or similar package
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Well-developed communication skills both verbal and written
- Well-developed computer skills including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
