Senior Financial Analyst

• $130,000 - $160,000 + superannuation (Daily Rate Equivalent)

The organisation:

Allura Partners are working with a private equity backed business that is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support a crucial project. 

If you are experienced in building complex financial models and partner well with C-suite Executives, please apply immediately as interviews will commence early next week.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyse various scenarios, including budgeting forecasting, valuation, and investment analysis. Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers. Extract actionable insights from financial reports and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather inputs and assumptions for financial projections.
• Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to assess the company’s financial health and performance. Identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions, as necessary.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and capital allocation decisions. Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence and prepare investment proposals with detailed financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Prepare clear and concise financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and external stakeholders. Communicate complex financial concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
• Implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial analysis and reporting.

The Requirements:

• CA / CPA qualified.
• Proven experience business partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication.
• Ability to simplify complex information.
• Experience using financial systems in a commercial environment.
• Immediately available or short notice period.
