Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis you will develop and create user friendly insightful reports to provide expert financial analysis, insights, and commentary on the financial performance of allocated business units within Catholic Healthcare.
Your highly developed data analytics, business intelligence, Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills along with your ability to build strong business relationships with your stakeholders, will aid your success in this integral position.
In this role you will;
- Contribute to the deliverance of cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies
- Identify and/or contribute to improvements in financial analysis, planning & reportioning
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure current & comprehensive understanding of key business drivers & performance metrics
- Complete the financial analysis of allocated business units/ business financial performance
- Analysis of performance against budgets & targets, identify trends and gaps, monitor revenue & margin
- Undertake forecasting exercises and coordinating input from stakeholders across the business
- Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts, and latest estimates for allocated business units
- Interpret concepts & processes to develop models & calculators to assist in business decision making
- Provide stakeholders with user friendly reports, analysis, insight & commentary of performance metrics
- Compliance with Organisational policy, legislative and regulatory standards and requirements
- Analyse systems information, verify integrity and validate data
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent.
- CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
- Strong forecasting and modelling skills and experience
- Experience in Adaptive Insights Workday or similar reporting tools - preferrable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build complex financial models using macros
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI with strong technical analytics/data skills
- A high level of pride in presentation of work with effective presentation skills
- Ability to provide proof of Covid19 Immunisations - Essential
