Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Financial Services Officer for 10 weeks + Contract in Rockingham, WA.
The Senior Financial Services Officer will assist the Financial Controller and Manager Financial Services in the preparation and review of Budgets.
The Senior Financial Services Officer will ensure the financial service systems are efficient, effective and dynamic, and ensure compliance of all relevant accounting standards and other statutory and financial Requirements.
Skills and Experience required includes:

• Experience in a financial administration position with a commercial or local government authority.
• Exposure to complex areas such as budget preparation, budget management, accounts payable/receivable, assets, stock control, benchmarking system reviews and GST/FBT compliance.
• Qualifications in Accounting or Finance, and experience using Authority.
• Membership or progressing towards achieving membership of Certified Practising Accountants (CPA)/Chartered Accountants (CA) would be desirable.

Government experience would be highly regarded.
