Lead the change, from the frontline

Shell Energy Australia Pty Ltd (Shell Energy) is expanding its distributed energy offerings to support commercial & industrial (C&I) energy users in Australia. This allows Shell Energy's customers to better manage their energy demand as Australia transitions to cleaner energy and with wholesale electricity prices settling on a 5-minute basis.

Based in Melbourne, the Senior Operations Analyst will be joining Shell Energy's dedicated Energy Solutions (ESOL) business unit and is responsible for managing Shell Energy's day-to-day Flexible Demand operations, and planning for market participation in new Flex opportunities. This key role will also work closely with the broader Energy Solutions team to provide an outstanding customer experience for all our C&I energy users.

With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:

• Refine current processes, tools, and checklists for existing Flex programs;
• Maintain existing tools, databases, system interactions and documentation on existing operations;
• Lead the onboarding and testing of customers, and processing of dispatch events;
• Lead the analysis and troubleshooting of any customer dispatch issues;
• Rectify site performance issues with internal stakeholders, delivery partners and customers;
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the customer experience;
• Develop program requirements for system programming and sales teams;
• Ensure compliance with program participation and provide knowledge sharing to the business;
• Incorporate new and updated offerings into existing tools;
• Standardise the input and output of tools to streamline the customer Flex lifecycle;
• Provide project management support to new ESOL projects;
• Identify systems development and operational enhancement priorities; and
• Support the delivery of priority systems changes with Flex Technical Lead, IT and System Development Leads.
