Work for an education institution on an innovative in-house analytics project

Your new company

Hays are currently working with a WA-based educational institution.

You will be working with a large and diverse team of developers, analysts, and educators to deliver a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform that enables data-driven decision-making for the education industry.

Your new role

  • Design, develop, and test front-end and back-end components using React and AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront, AppSync, etc.
  • Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms using AWS identities integration and IAM services.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualisations that showcase the analytic capabilities of the platform.
  • Collaborate with other developers, stakeholders, and users to ensure the quality and usability of the platform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the development process.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least five years of experience as a senior developer in the education industry or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building and integrating analytic solutions on AWS or a similar cloud platform.
  • Proficient in React and JavaScript for front-end development.
  • Familiar with AWS services and tools for back-end development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of security and authentication best practices for web applications.
  • Experience in creating and using dashboards and visualisations for data analysis and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
