Hays are currently working with a WA-based educational institution.
You will be working with a large and diverse team of developers, analysts, and educators to deliver a scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform that enables data-driven decision-making for the education industry.
Your new role
- Design, develop, and test front-end and back-end components using React and AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront, AppSync, etc.
- Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms using AWS identities integration and IAM services.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualisations that showcase the analytic capabilities of the platform.
- Collaborate with other developers, stakeholders, and users to ensure the quality and usability of the platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the development process.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least five years of experience as a senior developer in the education industry or a related field.
- Proven experience in building and integrating analytic solutions on AWS or a similar cloud platform.
- Proficient in React and JavaScript for front-end development.
- Familiar with AWS services and tools for back-end development and deployment.
- Knowledge of security and authentication best practices for web applications.
- Experience in creating and using dashboards and visualisations for data analysis and presentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
