As a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer, you’ll be pivotal in shaping and building world class eCommerce and ticketing solutions with a global footprint. This is an office-based role out of Ticketek’s HQ in the Sydney CBD (4 days in the office, 1 day remote).

As a Full Stack Engineer in our Technology team, you will be working in an agile environment. The Full Stack Engineer is a member of a Scrum team applying solution design skills, strong technical knowledge, best practice design and code quality disciplines, and sound interpersonal skills in the development of software solutions, and across a range of technologies.

The Role

• Complete all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, requirement gathering and development.
• Liaise with key stakeholders across the business.
• Complete development and configuration activities including clean-up, code reviews, bug-fixing post initial build and support for troubleshooting and release activities.
• Monitor process of development for any technical faults and solve problems as they arise.
• Apply solution design skills and input into architecture.
• Research and make recommendations for implementation of the latest technologies where feasible.
• Work with front and back end developers to define and develop applications.
• Work with the Development team to maintain existing client applications.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain quality standards using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Operate efficiently within a highly server-less environment with heavy use of Lambda/Kinesis/AWS.
• Ensure that applications are optimised for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure that code changes are peer-reviewed to ensure best practice coding standards are followed.
• Assist the wider business in key events throughout the year in a technical capacity, such as major hotshows and ingress support.
• Other duties as reasonably required.

The Person

• Jira / Confluence experience.
• Python, Node JS experience.
• Experience with AWS Lambda (.NET Core), AWS Kinesis and API Gateway.
• Experience with Dynatrace, ElasticSearch etc.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology.
• Proven experience in developing web-based solutions – ideally e-commerce.
• A minimum of 7 years software development experience, delivering across multiple technologies and platforms in a commercial environment.
• Broad knowledge of solutions architecture, .Net, SOA and MSA, technical architecture designs using UML, standards and advanced corporate information system concepts.
• In depth knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Restful Web API with micro-services architecture, SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Extensive SOA experience (SOAP) and the development of robust, clean and flexible solution designs within a managed enterprise architecture environment.
• Exposure to CI / CD practices and principles – Ansible, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Octopus etc.
• Experience developing on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to present your ideas with confidence to peers and to management.
• An ability to be able to apply both best practice and innovation, in equal measure, to deliver across a complex operating environment.
