The role of the Senior Full Stack .Net Software Developer is to act as a technical lead and subject matter expert for the Business Applications and Strategy Team.  You will provide technical leadership for applications in both the Project and BAU space, liaising with clients to understand requirements, and serving as a senior developer in a small team.  You will assist the build team in the identification of technological improvements to new and existing process.

Responsibilities 

• Provide high level .Net development and technical team leadership across several supported applications
• Be a champion for continuous development and improvement through Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Provide technical leadership and advice across large and complex projects within the application development space.
• Provide high level technical support for on-line maintenance, fault diagnosis and the identification and implementation of remedial action including identification of new areas and business processes to continually improve applications.
• Assist in the development of support processes for cloud-based services including configuring and maintaining portals, sites, pages, document libraries and associated access control.
• Work as a team member, assisting to ensure that the quality of service delivered to clients meets or exceeds expectations as well as liaising with both internal clients and external suppliers to ensure services are provided to the standard required.
• This position does not involve direct supervision of staff, however mentoring/guidance of junior staff is essential.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a senior technical lead / software development role focusing on .Net framework
• Possess excellent understanding of developing, supporting and maintaining large enterprise applications
• Experience with Git, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge and/or certification in architectural application methodologies with extensive experience in solution design based on Microsoft technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365, SQL, Windows 10/11).
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture and technologies, including cloud computing, networking, security, and storage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.

Security Clearance
Have at least a baseline security clearance is mandatory. Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance is highly preferable.
