A successful fund custodian business, this organisation has multi-billion dollar clients with a wide range of asset investments and boasts a highly experienced management team. They have a fast paced environment and hire smart, motivated people who love to learn new things and take ownership of their work.
This is a newly created role in a team of Fund Accountants that will support the ongoing growth of the business and be looked at as a potential future leader of the team.
- Preparation of fund financial statements
- Investor reporting across a portfolio of investment entities
- Quarterly accounting and workpapers
- NAV calculations
- Income tax and BAS statements
- Ensure internal controls are in place and fund compliance activities carried out
- Provide oversight across commercial, legal, tax and accounting matters for all entities
- Month-end reconciliations
- Management of the year-end audit
You must be CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years' experience in fund accounting and have strong skills in financial statements and local tax, this is essential to ensure you can step up to Manager level. You must be a smart, motivated, professional individual with excellent communication skills and have the potential to lead and develop others.
This is a great chance for any experienced Fund Accountant to take on a role that will allow them to step up to a more senior level.
