AddressOur client a large Global Fund Administrator is growing at a rapid rate, they are are well positioned to grow significantly over the next few years. The team is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant who will demonstrate their current skills and provide excellent team structure
The role
This is a rare opportunity to work with the Senior Fund Accountant taking responsibility for Financial Statements, and building/maintaining relationships with current and new stakeholders
Financial Accounting responsibilities
- Taking part in the setup of alternative investment funds and liaising with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries as a part of setting up funds;
- Taking care of the day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties, including investors and fund managers;
- Handling the fund’s accounts and collaborating in the preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the fund’s entities;
- Preparing the funds’ periodic Net Asset Value calculation and year-end financial statements, coordinating the audits, and reviewing other fund related reports;
- Coordinate Investor servicing, including investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions as well as issuance of shareholder statements;
- Organising and participating in board meetings and shareholders' meetings;
- Reviewing tax returns and tax balances and maintaining relevant contacts with the tax authorities.
It is likely that you will come either direct from a professional services environment or are already working in the property sector, you will have a combination of the following skills and experience:
- CA / CPA qualified (or close to)
- Keen to show initiative and present solutions
- Strong Communication skills
- Good team player
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
