About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager - Business Services, the successful candidate will assist in executing the risk management program, assessing, identifying, and mitigating enterprise risks that could impede the reputation, security or financial success of the Site and communicating risk policies and processes.
Governance in relation to compliance and human rights, including drafting modern slavery statement and implementation of the human rights action plan.
Responsibilities include:
- proactively research, gather and analyse data and information to identify trends and issues regarding governance strategy and risk;
- coordinate and facilitate operational risk assessment requirements across the Site and monitor systems and business processes;
- preparation of bespoke plans with specific recommendations and guidance for high-risk vendors;
- develop and implement training and awareness programs to enhance governance and risk culture;
- facilitation of risk audits;
- develop and monitor business continuity planning;
- provide risk management advice and decision support guidance to Site; and
- continuously improve existing policies and other documentation in response to legislative changes and external reviews.
About the Candidate:
- ideally you will hold a tertiary qualification in a related field (economics, social law, commerce, workplace health and safety) or relevant work experience sufficient to meet the requirements;
- minimum of 8 years relevant experience in risk, governance and/or human rights;
- thorough understanding of polies and best practices of risk management;
- ability to influence others and translate difficult concepts into meaningful information; and
- proficient in Microsoft Office products or related software to prepare reports and policies.
