The Opportunity
The Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist will collaborate with the broader Cyber Governance Risk & Compliance team to ensure effective governance over Cyber Security at HBF, along with general risk management and assurance capabilities within Technology and the wider business. This role involves designing and operating an effective Technology and Cyber Security Control Assurance Programme, maintaining Information Security Policy, facilitating Third-Party Risk Management activities, tracking compliance to legislative and regulatory requirements, and driving Cyber Security awareness across the organisation.
About You
You are an experienced and passionate professional in the realm of Technology and Cyber Security, driven by a commitment to ensuring robust governance, risk management, and Compliance within organizations. With your exceptional communication skills and deep understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements, you excel in collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address cyber threats effectively. Your proactive approach to driving Cyber Awareness activities and your ability to navigate complex environments make you an asset in safeguarding the security and integrity of technological ecosystems.
Essentials Experience:
• Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in similar or related Technology and Cyber Security roles
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Tertiary education in Technology, Cyber Security, or related fields
• Strong understanding of key industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of risk management and control assurance in an enterprise environment
• General understanding of legislative requirements for security and privacy
• Prior experience writing or contributing to company policies, standards, and guidelines.
