The Role
We are looking for Vac Truck Operators and Offsiders that are familiar with the Waste, Sewer, Water and/or Stormwater Industries, that show a commitment to being a team player, and who enjoy learning new skills.This is a fantastic opportunity for committed and team orientated people who have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude and experience in some form within the waste, storm water and/or civil construction industry.
To be successful in our position you will have the ability to:
- Safely and efficiently operate vehicles and equipment;
- Service GPT’s as per O&M manuals;
- Instal litter baskets;
- Inspect and maintain GPT’s to ensure integrity and correct operation;
- Maintain accurate records and data entry
- Communicate with public and stakeholders related to the task;
- Provide direction to offsiders to conduct activities;
- Schedule and Plan in conjunction with Ops Manager.
- Liaise with client where appropriate on-site locations;
- Ensure SWMS, JHA’s, permits, procedures are appropriate to the task, updated and in order.
