We've rapidly scaled up our in-house marketing team, but it's just missing one key player – you. Working alongside a bunch of talented individuals, the Liquor Barons marketing team needs a Senior Graphic Designer to join forces with our in-house creatives.

Liquor Barons is a co-operative of over 90 independently owned and operated liquor outlets located throughout Western Australia. The head office is responsible for creating and implementing best-in-class marketing and merchandise/promotional strategies. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is an opportunity to secure a Senior Graphic Designer role based in Western Australia within the fun, fast-paced, competitive liquor industry.
 

The Role

Within the office, you will work alongside the Marketing team (small but mighty), including a copywriter, digital Graphic Designer, social specialist, and marketing manager. You will also interact closely with the Merchandise team. Within the Liquor Barons co-operative, you will be an invaluable resource to support our store network.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong design skills across both digital and traditional media. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the Liquor Barons brand, assisting stores with advertising, store layouts, and signage. You will have knowledge in website design, promotional email creative and social media graphics. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our brand image. Your creativity, versatility, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential.
 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will:  

• Lead and produce catalogues, press advertising and other POS collateral. 
• Respond to store requests. These include but are not limited to store layouts, internal and external signage and individual POS requests. 
• Become an influential figure in our graphic design team across all digital and traditional formats
• Help evolve the Liquor Barons Brand and brand campaign. 

About you

• A good qualification in a design discipline or experience to match
• Ideally, 7+ years’ experience in retail advertising across both digital and traditional media
• Advanced skills in Adobe (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom).
• Experience in web marketing/web design. 
• Previous use of an automated catalogue design platform is desirable.
• Solid background in digital marketing (EDMs and website design). 
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise.
• A background working in or with the retail industry, any experience around the liquor or FMCG category is definitely a bonus but not essential at all.
• Have a body of work you’re proud of and recommendations worth bragging about.
• Thrives working within a close-knit, collaborative team with superior communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Hold full, unrestricted working rights within Australia and be based in or actively relocating to Perth.
