We're seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer to join our Technology team at the Gold Coast office. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology, this role is crucial for all visual communication across various channels, including Social Media, Advertisement, Print, Video, Digital, UX/UI, Websites, Apps, and In-app experiences.
This role is for Senior specialists only and requires solid skills and knowledge in both design and technology. As a key member of our Tech team, you will contribute significantly to shaping our visual identity across multiple platforms. Does it sound like you? Read on!
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will:
? Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure our design strategies complement our digital marketing initiatives.
? Provide creative direction and contribute to the continuous evolution and improvement of visual brand identity.
? Develop and execute creative strategies for digital communications, ensuring consistency with Optus Business Centre Gold Coast brand
guidelines.
? Apply a solid understanding of web design principles, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices, and handling platforms such
as Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, WordPress, Webflow, Unbounce, and Wix.
? Approach challenges with a confident, positive, flexible “can do” mentality.
An ideal candidate will have:
? A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media or similar.
? 5+ years of proven experience in Marketing Agencies, Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software Companies.
? Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to produce visually appealing designs for various marketing and
communication materials.
? A high level of experience in producing information products and in-depth knowledge of printing techniques.
? Proven experience in project management, creative direction or strategic leadership in design projects aligned with the general
objectives of the business.
? A solid knowledge of UX/UI design principles and HTML/CSS skills for web design, guaranteeing optimal user experiences and
responsive design.
? A proven track record of delivering high-quality UX/UI for apps, both IOS and Android.
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team and stakeholder collaboration.

? International work experience or experience with multicultural communities
? Bilingual or professional working proficiency in a second language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish)
? Knowledge of scrum methodologies
? Experience with AI, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Product Design
