This role is working with an amazing Renewable Energy Developer who are actually one of the pioneers in Australia when it comes to Renewable development. They have a very large pipeline of projects that will take them well into the foreseeable future and have some of the brightest minds working for them in the industry. Your new role
You will be working as a Senior Grid Engineer supporting the Grid Connections Manager during the Grid Connections stages of large utility scale solar and BESS projects. You will have expert knowledge with softwares such as PSSE and PSCAD and be required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. With some of the most unique and exciting projects in the country, this role is best suited for an ambitions Power Systems Engineer looking to take their career to the next level.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelors of Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of the Grid Connections process for large scale renewable assets
PSSE & PSCAD experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Specific experience in renewable project development or T&D
Experience undertaking grid connection studies from pre-FIA to R2
