Complete reconciliations and automate/simplify processes
The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will perform banking/accounting functions and reconciliations relating to the administration of wrap super fund and IDPS platforms. You will confirm that up-to-date records are maintained, compliant with relevant legislation, and accurate allocation of holdings to members is achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily bank reconciliations and transaction uploads
Prepare general ledger reconciliations and exceptions handling
Facilitate daily banking requirements of superannuation and IDPS products with CBA including liquidity management and fund level payments
Compensation reconciliation and payment processing
Monitor ASIS platform daily liquidity management of ASIS platform cash
Ensure compliance requirements are met and proactively engage with the external audit process as required
Complete and review controls implemented around key processes and procedures to mitigate risk
Facilitate staff training/development and monitor team workflow
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
Degree Qualified or high level of industry operational experience
CA/CPA qualification
Intermediate skills in Microsoft office products
Experience in funds management / financial services industry desirable
Positive attitude and flexibility to work well within a team
