We have an exciting opportunity to join our team,

• Permanent Full Time
• Temporary Part Time 20hpw until 28 February 2027 with the possibility of an extension subject to funding

What you'll be doing

• Informed by robust evidence from analyses of the relevant data (using routine Health data collections and projection tools), as well as critical appraisal of the relevant literature.
• Consult and negotiate with relevant clinicians, managers and executives across the health system.
• Aligned with relevant Commonwealth, State and Local Health District strategic and policy directions and priorities.

Although working as part of a team, the position will have responsibility for individual projects relating to specific content areas. This position will have a particular focus on the analysis, management and communication of large data sets and health related information including complex data linked from a number of different sources. Accordingly, highly developed data management, project management, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential to coordinate diverse inputs from across the organisation to develop and produce robust planning advice and plans in a timely manner.
The position holder is also responsible for preparing and contributing to the development of briefings, reports, strategies, plans, business cases and general correspondence as required by the Manager Planning Unit and the Director, Planning and Performance.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
