About the role:
- As a key member of the Health Support team at McArthur you will be designing, implementing and monitoring the provision of Health Support services to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live their best lives.
- Your clients will be participants registered with NDIS providers including McArthur Community Care and a growing number of other NDIS providers across Adelaide.
- The purpose of this role is to provide expert, specialised Health Support and advice, development of high-quality individualised support plans, as well as providing individualised training and competency assessment for Participant's Support Staff.
Reporting to the National Manager of Health Support your role includes:
- Engaging with key stakeholders such as other health professionals and service providers to ensure the person supported is accessing quality and safe Health Support.
- Carry out comprehensive Health Support assessments and reviews.
- Provide quotation and Service Agreement with Participants, and their Care Provider.
- Design individualised Health Plans and training programmes for High Intensity support.
- Write and deliver evidence-based training materials as part of a team of highly skilled colleagues.
- Conduct training sessions in various locations and contexts when required.
- Meet regularly with the National Manager McArthur Health Support for support and advice.
- Travel to participants homes as required to determine required level of care and note changes in support that may need to be implemented.

To be considered for this position you will need:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current AHPRA registration
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (or evidenced training delivery experience)
- NDIS orientation Module Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screen check
- Working with Childrens Check
- Up to date relevant immunisations as per the Public Health expectations
- Infection Control compliance
- Current South Australian Drivers Licence
- Reliable road worthy vehicle with registration and comprehensive insurance (you will be reimbursed for your kilometres)
- Knowledge of local health networks will be a distinct advantage.
