We currently have an opportunity for a Senior HSE Engineer to provide subject matter expertise to the Honeywell Building Solutions Business across NSW/ACT and be the key point of contact within the allocated district. Reporting to the APAC HSE Director, you will assist Business Managers and Leaders in delivering the HSE Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and drive the company's safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively lead HSE elements for all transition activities within the region
- HSE oversight of all HBT and non-HBT employees at the various OLRS (office & low risk site) locations
- Develop & deploy in partnership with the HBT HSE teams subject matter experts, the district strategy for HSE, Business Continuity, Office & low risk sites (OLRS), Sustainability
- Proactively lead HSE elements for all transition activities within the region
- Assist in resolving potential non-compliance, enforcement actions or litigation regarding HSE matters
Experience & Capabilities:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in driving & deploying HSE within a business
- BSc or MSc degree in HSE or Engineering
- Knowledgeable in HSE compliance, emerging regulations, and trends
- Strong influencing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience working with service, process, facilities maintenance, or construction industries desired
