About the role
Hydraulic Service Technician will be based at the workshop facility in Perth and complete ongoing regular shutdown to some of WA's largest mine sites. There will be involvement of onsite repairs, servicing and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication equipment. Significant amount of the work will involve mine shut down work in the Pilbara with penalties and extra daily rate for working away.
Key Responsibilities for the role
- Diagnose, repairs, maintenance and installation of hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication equipment.
- Assist to provide estimates, options and improvements to clients.
- Mine shut down work pertaining to hydraulics and lubrication.
- Assist and support other trades as required.
- Accurately record and document processes, maintenance and activities.
- Achieve team targets in an efficient and cooperative manner.
Skills & experience
- Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting) essential.
- Tertiary training in Fluid Power.
- Solid experience working in the hydraulic industry and providing fluid power solutions on industrial and mining equipment.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Assist, train and develop other trade personnel.
