Site Supervisor / Hydraulic Technician

The company:
As a multi-national organisation, this group has established branches in all key centers of Australia. They are an organisation that excels in the sale of hydraulic componentry, they provide workshop and on-site field service and in-house mechanical engineering and design in Perth.

About the Role:
As the Site supervisor, you will be expected to coordinate and prioritise work for the shutdown team and actively support the mechanical and hydraulic team in performing their duties during programmed site maintenance periods in the Pilbara. In addition, you will liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers providing clear concise communication to your team and related parties.  
 
Duties:

• Coordinate mechanical shutdown trade work activities
• Liaise with customers, contractors and suppliers
• Work actively alongside the trades staff  
• Provide additional training to trades staff for succession planning and work satisfaction
• Provide daily updates of work in progress to clients and senior leaders  

Skills & experience required:

• You must be mechanically trade qualified with 5 years of hydraulic fluid power experience
• Have 3 plus years of supervisory or leading hand and coordination experience
• Bring a focused and coordinated approach to your work
• Have clear verbal and written communication skills
• Be confident multi-tasking both on the tools and providing directed leadership
