Your Opportunity
Due to recent project wins we have an exciting vacancy for a skilled Senior Hydraulics / Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in the Melbourne CBD.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on new major building projects, in a growing team with an exciting culture. This will include the opportunity to work on our landmark projects, including the National Gallery of Victoria Contemporary gallery.
The long-term focus of this role includes opportunities to develop project management skills, and to contribute to the technical development of other team members. Ideally applicants will have experience in large scale mixed use, education, commercial, and / or defence/health.
Candidate Specification
About You
We are looking for a candidate with experience in a similar role. The role will see you working as part of a small but growing team focussed on major buildings projects and being responsible for hydraulic/ fire protection design work on large buildings projects in Melbourne.
Ideally hold Chartership and/or Registered Building Practitioner status
(Victorian)
Familiar with the application of Australian Hydraulic & Fire Services engineering design standards, codes and practices
Preparation of concept sketches, reports, detailed designs including specifications and drawings.
An interest in developing skills in project management and leading projects.
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to communicate/liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, clients, and contractors
