What we are looking for:
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting and management of systems and devices, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
- Recording all services provided in our ticket system and taking responsibility for the job from start to finish.
- Be involved in developing documentation, training materials and guides to support the use of technology and best practices
- Working closely with the CTO to ensure the ICT environment supports the use of appropriate technologies
- Using your initiative to anticipate potential issues, make suggestions and share ideas
- Ensuring client systems are operating at optimum level with minimal or no downtime, using a pro-active approach.
- Building and developing relationships with our clients and suppliers.
- Promoting a positive culture within the team and supporting others in the workspace.
The knowledge you need:
You will need to have a high level of technical knowledge and experience with at least 3 years’ relevant experience and expertise in:
- Network Administration
- Microsoft Windows Server
- MS Windows Operating Systems
- Exchange Server / M365
- General PC Troubleshooting
- Hardware Support & Troubleshooting
- Phone & Remote Desktop Support
- Hyper V
- Networking technologies (eg. DNS, Routing, Email, VOIP)
- Backup Technologies (eg. Veeam, Shadow Protect / Storage Craft is a plus)
- 3CX Phone Systems
You also have:
- Experience in service desk environments where documenting, monitoring, and resolving issues in an efficient and effective manner are of utmost importance
- Excellent communication skills, strong customer focus and stakeholder management
- Ability to juggle competing priorities to ensure critical timeframes are met
- Understanding of cloud-based delivery platforms and services such as Microsoft 365
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Current valid Australian driver's license and access to own car at all times (on site parking and guaranteed travel allowance paid fortnightly)
