Reporting to the Head of Product Design, you will partner with engineering, marketing, sales, operations and factory staff to develop products that demonstrate great design, production readiness and evidence-based product-market fit.
You will have a thorough understanding of all stages of the design process and support the Head of Product Design to deliver design projects on time, in full and on budget.
We are looking for someone who enjoys all stages of the design process, from design thinking research to hands-on prototyping, collaborating internally, externally and more.

We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:
- Degree qualified in Industrial Design, or equivalent.
- 5+ years previous demonstrated experience in industrial design and the production environment
- Strong knowledge of design principles and experience in product delivery from concept through to commercialisation.
- Strong ideation skills plus great visual and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to prepare and present design presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a wide range of materials, finishes and processes that can or may be used in outdoor furniture design and production.
- Experience working with sheet metal, castings and fabrication.
- Hands-on ability to prototype new designs, including 3D printing experience.
- Proven ability to produce production level drawings for mass manufacturing purposes.
- Advanced level in SolidWorks (equivalent to Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - CSWP). Experience using Solidworks PDM is an advantage.
- Experience with rendering software such as Keyshot is an advantage.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office and Adobe skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a close-knit team towards common goals.
- Experience in user-centred and design-thinking processes is an advantage.
