Our Federal Government partner, located in Parramatta - seeks the service of 2 ICT Asset Officers for an initial contract period of 12 months, with the possibility of extensions.
Purpose of position
The ICT Assets Officer will be required to work collaboratively with all areas in ICT and internal stakeholders. The role will provide support within the ICT assets team to aid in provision, auditing and tracking functions, with some onsite support possibly in offices located interstate.
Key Accountabilities
The Officer is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing equipment by ensuring the asset inventory database is kept updated, along with monitoring and reporting on stock levels of devices. The Officer will have oversight to the preparation of mobility devices used by departmental staff and ensuring that they are dispersed in a timely manner to maintain the operational functions.

Essential Requirements
The successful applicant will need to work well in a geographically dispersed team environment as well as autonomously, apply initiative and possess strong client service skills and technical competency.
A basic understanding of ITIL and industry best practices in cyber safety is important as well as ICT technical skills.
- Stock and asset management of the fleet of ICT assets distributed to staff across the country.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Azure.
- Ability to deliver high quality work while managing competing priorities, work to a timeline and troubleshoot issues.
- Updating records to assist in keeping accurate asset records within an established database.
- Contribute to ICT device evaluations, regular reporting, and continuous improvement processes.
- Work both independently with limited supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
