We are proud to represent one of our longest standing clients, a respected brokerage with strengths in servicing the insurance and risk requirements of Professional Services. This is an established brokerage with a long standing and loyal client base. Our client is seeking the next generation of broker capable of contributing to the on-going success of their business.
The role
We are seeking an accomplished Broker with strong leadership, servicing and business development skills to join the Sydney team. This high performing team works meticulously well in a supportive and collaborative environment to consistently exceed internal and external expectations. This is a role that may lead to leadership responsibilities for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create, build and execute a strategic retention and sales plan to meet and exceed service and financial targets.
- Develop new relationships to increase quote traffic, win new business and increase products per policy ratio by cross selling.
- Co-ordinate internal sales activity and provide referrals to the team if beyond your capacity.
- Manage a portfolio of Mid-Market and Corporate accounts.
- Keep abreast, monitor and report on competitor activity.
- Build a strong individual and company profile.
- There may be the opportunity to leadership duties based upon experience/interest.
Your details:
- Prior successful employment in a relationship-based broking role and thorough understanding of the General Insurance market.
- Previous experience in driving new business in a brokerage is essential.
- Possess sales leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Proven track record of key client management and superior client management skills.
- Strong technical broking expertise.
- Awareness of markets for hard to place risks.
