The Opportunity
Join our small, international team, supporting retention and growth of a Domestic and Commercial Business portfolio.
Take the next step as a Broker or Launch your insurance career, as you focus on educating clients on risk. Facilitate insurance products, submitting and broking business, presenting, closing opportunities and servicing accounts.
You will work with great people and be supported to build your skills through initial training and ongoing development in this customer centric environment. You will be contributing to positive client outcomes every day.

Role Responsibilities
- Process volume insurance policy renewals for existing clients
- Communicate with clients through email and inbound and outbound phone calls
- Negotiate insurance policy terms with internal and external Underwriting staff
- Cross sell and upsell insurance products and services to clients
- Achieve personal and team retention targets
- Partner with clients and colleagues across the business
- Multi-task whilst navigating a range of technologies including Winbeat, Officetech, Sunrise and APEX systems
- Participate in training and mentor sessions to develop technical knowledge
About You
Our ideal candidate possesses the following:
- Experience in Insurance Broking, Financial Services, Health Funds, Customer Service or similar organizations servicing large client volumes (highly regarded)
- Experience operating in a retention or sales environment whilst achieving KPI’s (preferred)
- RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking or willingness to obtain one (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet timelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Keen to learn and able to learn systems/technologies quickly
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills
