Based in East Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Senior Community Intake Clinician - 26+ to join our Bairnsdale Community Health Service on a full time or part time, ongoing basis.
The Senior Community Intake Clinician - 26+ undertakes a full range of clinical duties including the provision of recovery orientated care, undertaking of comprehensive assessments, completion of care coordination, delivery of evidence-based treatment as well as assisting with the supervision of a small but dedicated multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for candidates with:
  • Registered Nurse Division with postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing, or
  • A Social worker with appropriate mental health experience, or
  • Occupational Therapist or Psychologist, registered with AHPRA
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior mental health role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

Selection Criteria Essential: Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
Essential: Registered Nurse Division 1 with a formal post graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing
Essential: Occupational Therapy registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Essential: Psychologist registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Essential: Social Worker with eligibility for membership with AASW
Essential: A current Victorian Drivers Licence
Essential: Computer literacy skills
Essential: Demonstrated experience working in the mental health service system
Essential: Demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
