This is one of the best firms for an Interior Designer to join, as the interiors team is very respected and treated as equals, both running their own project and working collaboratively with the architecture team on architecture projects too. They are a great team of over 20 in Brisbane and nearly 8 in the interior team. Senior Interior Designer Role:

You will be working hand in hand with the Interiors Director, who is genuine and delightful. With a very inclusive and flat approach to the team structure and way of working, as a Senior Interior Designer will play a leading role on projects, running and working in projects from end to end, managing client and consultants, stakeholders and alike and mentoring and guiding Interior Designers. The entire team works in projects and work collaboratively so you will play a leading role in projects both being hands on and leading others in the team.

About you:

You will be someone who loves what they do, is passionate design, good eye and loves working across a variety of projects and designing for people. You will also be someone who loves working in projects too and sharing and mentoring others to create great collaborative results. As you will be in projects and remain hands-on on you will also need to lead by example and have strong software skills in Revit, Indesign, and Photoshop.
Ideally, you will have:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial interior design practice or environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with clients, consultants, and internal team members
• Strong presentation and rendering skills; Indesign, Photoshop, and Enscape, will be highly regarded
• Strong Revit and documentation skills
• Solution-focused – demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects, clients, and teams
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover
• Enjoy building relationships with clients, consultants, stakeholders, suppliers and your team.
• Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required
• Proven ability to work on and manage more than one project at a time
