- Develop feature-rich iOS applications for mobile, tablet, and TV
- Employ best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and performant code
- Integrate with backend services to retrieve and display dynamic content
- Work closely with Product, Design, and QA teams
- Collaborate with Frontend and Backend Engineers to ensure quality and consistency
- Mentor junior team members, review their code, and guide their development
- Ensure optimal performance of the applications on various iOS devices
- Monitor application performance metrics and troubleshoot any issues
- Keep up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and best practices
- Evaluate new technologies and methods to improve the development process and application performance
- Develop and implement unit and UI tests to ensure robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Collaborate with QA teams to fix bugs and improve application performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in iOS app development
- Strong proficiency with Swift
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as AVFoundation, UIKit, etc
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Knowledge of modern architectural patterns, such as MVVM
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience with developing applications for tvOS
- Experience with streaming technologies and media playback
