In partnership with Department of Health (DoH) stakeholders, and under the direction of the Manager - Servers, the Senior IT Officer - Servers will support operational management of DoH computer, storage and core infrastructure to ensure continuity of service delivery.The Senior IT Officer - Servers will undertake research, analysis and technical activities required to design, develop, commission, maintain, administer and support both in-house and externally provided IT computer and storage infrastructure services.The Role: * Administer and support DoH computer and storage environments, including:
- Assist with server and storage design and development.
- Plan, assist and implement system upgrades.
- Report, track, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Daily operations.
- Monitoring, auditing, capacity and performance planning of ICT Infrastructure.
- Production of Technician documentation and ability to translate technical information into business language.
- Provide second and third level technical support.
- Undertake investigations and research related to server and storage administration and support, security, integration and overall lifecycle management.
- Advise and guide other team members and staff on server and storage techniques for the development of sound ICT practices.
