About Information and Digital Services
Information and Digital Services (IDS) are a pivotal resource of the University, providing information and digital technology services and support to the Flinders University staff and student community. The IDS team apply technical expertise to support university projects and provide core services such as the IDS Service Desk, Audio visual, simulation and event services, Information security and identity access management services and more.
About the Role
We have a unique opening within our Service and Marketing Success Platform team as the Senior IDS Platforms Analyst and Developer. This pivotal position is related to the Education Technology Program and as the successful candidate, you will be required to support design, configuration and implementation of the CRM and Marketing Platforms as part of the Education Technology Platform.
Some of the key responsibilities of the position are:
- Coordinating the technical change, configuration and release management process for the relevant platforms and applications in alignment with IDS frameworks, principles, and standards.
- Planning, managing, and performing maintenance, upgrades and enhancement of relevant platforms and applications in alignment with IDS frameworks, principles, and standards.
- Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions for integration and enhancement of relevant platforms and applications in alignment with IDS frameworks, principles, guardrails, and design standards.
- Supporting the relevant stakeholders in developing, implementing, and managing the vision and associated roadmap for the platform and applications, ensuring the vision and roadmap is aligned to the strategic objectives and relevant governance principles of IDS and Flinders.
About You
To be successful in this role, is it crucial that you have in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/Sales/Marketing functionalities, including its architecture, customisation options, and integration capabilities. You are a driven professional who can work well autonomously as well as part of a team. You have effective communication skills and can build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Some of the additional requirements to be successful in the role include:
- Ability to customise Dynamics 365 to meet the specific needs of the University. This includes configuring entities, fields, forms, views, workflows, and business process flows.
- Hands on development experience in technologies like Microsoft .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, Power Apps & Power Automate.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and quickly learn new technologies and processes.
- Experience in delivering technology using the Agile approach and within project governance and frameworks.
- Skilled and experience in the analysis of requirements and the design, deployment, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of Enterprise systems.
