AddressMcCosker are seeking applications for a Senior IT Project Engineer for a 24-month maximum term arrangement, to be based at the Head Office in Gladstone, Queensland.
About the role:
Reporting to the IT Director, this position performs a crucial role in the achieving strategic objectives in the technology roadmap and will contribute to the successful delivery of project outcomes. The position will be responsible for the technical implementation of project deliverables, however, will also take ownership and provide strategic input for some projects. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of information technology with strong skills working with cloud technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the business with continual improvement of IT systems
- Lead the delivery of technical project objectives within budget and timeframe
- Support the IT Director with the delivery of the future operating environment
- Support the business objectives for a gradual transition into a cloud hybrid model, and the eventual transition into a cloud native model for technical infrastructure
- Identify opportunities for innovation and develop business cases to adopt best fit emerging technologies
Required experience:
- Experience with modern project management frameworks / methodologies
- Experience with IT project delivery
- Experience with digital transformation projects will be highly advantageous for this role
- Experience managing Azure AD, MS Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online and MS 365
- Broad understanding of Information Technology with experience in systems administration, networking database administration and cloud service management
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attitude and willingness to learn and participate
- Current Driver Licence
