As our new Senior IT Project Manager - Technology, the core purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end delivery of internal global technology (Workplace) projects within Aurecon.
In this role, you will take ownership of the entire IT delivery lifecycle as a Delivery Owner and you will lead and oversee a squad of up to 10 team members, ensuring successful execution of concurrent projects and work items. Your focus will be:
- Project Leadership and Oversight: You will spearhead all aspects of project management, from defining scope and timelines to managing risks and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
- Business Value Delivery: You will translate business needs into actionable IT requirements, ensuring delivered solutions meet objectives and deliver tangible value for the organization.
Including the following key responsibilities:
- Project Leadership, governance and oversight
- Detailed Planning, schedule, planning, Ways of Working (Agile)
- Stakeholder Management and communication
- Quality and Change Management

As well as experience in a similar role. Specifically
- Knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of all things Workplace for example, but not limited to: Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, packaging, SOE, virtual desktop, audio visual and telephony, technology refresh projects, device management (SCCM, InTune). It is advantageous if Mac OS and GenAI - Copilot experience.
- Advanced/extensive delivery experience with a recent focus of Agile ways of working
- Proven experience of managing projects which introduce significant technology transformation such as enabling modern ways of working.
