Your new role
Our client is seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer or Senior Front End Developer with a passion for leading-edge technology and a knack for leadership to join their dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our development unit, you will spearhead the creation of responsive user interfaces and guide the team through complex data interface challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of REACT-based UIs for diverse user groups.
- Manage data interfacing tasks, ensuring seamless data transmission and reception.
- Develop sophisticated applications utilising HTML5/CSS/JavaScript.
- Craft solutions with ReactJS, staying ahead of the curve in UI trends.
- Operate within Java 11 and cloud-based environments, leveraging the latest in development practices.
- Architect and integrate robust APIs and micro-services.
- Mentor team members, promoting best practices in UI development.
- Conduct code reviews, maintaining high standards in design and implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally using Agile methodologies, enhancing team synergy.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, upskilling colleagues across various disciplines.
- Engage in strategic discussions, influencing project direction and staff development.
- Advise on the adoption of plugins, extensions, and toolkits, optimising our tech stack.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a JavaScript Engineer or Front End Developer.
- Strong background in ReactJS, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, and Java 11.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and micro-service architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
