- Take responsibility for cashflow and management, budgeting, investments, insurance and financial reporting
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities
- Deliver a range of monthly management reporting to internal stakeholders, monitoring business performance, results and presenting key insights
- Work with senior managers to develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting
- Perform risk management through analysis of company assets, liabilities and investments and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
- Experience as a Financial Controller or Accountant - CA/CPA Qualified
- Ability to work with Senior Managers in compiling and presenting financials to the Board of Directors
- Understanding of accounting, legislative & regulatory issues, and tax planning
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proactive approach to strategic growth opportunities
- Experience in the Property Sector as well as how to raise capital outside of traditional lines of credit would be beneficial
- A highly-motivated, self-starter with the capability to work autonomously and independently
- Strong initiative, problem solving skills, and relationship management capabilities
