The Commercial Regulatory (Infrastructure) Team
The commercial regulatory (infrastructure) team is a unique practice that advises across a range of commercial transactions and regulated infrastructure matters in rail, maritime ports, airports, telecommunications and logistics industries. They also support clients on project delivery, contract management, providing advice to issues that arise, and work closely with other practice groups within the Firm to meet these clients' needs.

Position Description
There is now an exciting role for a talented Senior Associate to join the team in their Sydney office on a full-time or part-time (4 days) basis. This position will see you working closely with two highly regarded Partners, where you will play a key role during negotiations and drafting, as well as project managing matters through to completion. You will also work collaboratively with a peer Senior Associate to supervise and mentor the junior lawyers in the team, making a positive contribution to their development.
This position offers a great opportunity to gain quality experience, through arrangements such as client secondments if they arise.
Requirements
To be successful, you will have 1-4 years' experience as a Senior Associate in a corporate M&A, front-end major projects or other commercial practice.

- A highly developed ability to draft complex commercial contracts;
- An ambitious attitude with the ability to prioritise various competing matters;
- A willingness to engage in business development activities, and a desire to commit to potential secondments to leading infrastructure clients;
- Experience in mentoring and supervising more junior lawyers;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for maintaining a friendly team culture and building long-lasting relationships with clients.
