The Violence Prevention & Women's Advocacy Teams are recognised as a leading provider of specialist and multi-disciplinary services in domestic and family violence and related matters, specialising in a holistic and socially inclusive service delivery model.
What you will do

• Representing vulnerable and disadvantage clients
• Provide duty lawyer services and legal information and advice to clients and the public
• Provide advice on and contribute to changes in police, procedures and systems
• Refer clients to other services, as appropriate

About you: The successful candidate will have

• Detailed knowledge of the practice and procedure of domestic and family violence law
• Understanding of and can apply the principles of trauma informed practice
• Ability to present in a clear, concise and articulate manner
• A considered and ethical approach to decision making

• 36.25 hrs per week (full time hours)
