We require a Senior / Lead Electrical Site Engineerto join the Project Delivery Team, to aid in the delivery and execution of complex engineering project in Ghana.

TheSenior / Lead Electrical Site Engineer will provide site support to our construction in Ghana, on a greenfield gold plant, mid construction. For the technically adept mid career design engineer, this opportunity will give you the opportunity to set your Cv apart, as well as building the sort of resource sector contacts that will ensure your career advances rapidly.
In this role, you will be working with the Perth based design team, ensuring that the design and engineering delivered to site, is executed to the specifications and standards in the drawings, on a gold project that ECG has been driving from study phase.
Your key role as Senior / Lead Electrical Site Engineer is defending the design from site pressures to make changes in construction. You may end up marking up the drawings and getting site approval, or for larger scope of changes, you will engage with the project Principal Electrical Engineer, or the Project Manager in Perth.
Key Experience Requirements
An understanding of technical (E, I&C) principals relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate

• Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 6 years experience working in electrical teams, on front end greenfield / brownfield development projects
• LV design experience (AutoCAD proficient, LV MCC design, protection & co-ordination studies)
• Single line diagrams
• Termination drawings
• Schematic drawings
• Incorporating vendor data into design
• Major project design experience throughout the design cycle
• A passion to learn, a passion to defend the ECG design specification from contractors who think they have a better idea…

The role will be Ghana based, working with an established construction crew who are there to support you, just as you are there to defend design on site.
There may be occasional input on the engineering and reports of our overseas offices and our engineering office in Manila.
